Hi I'm Kimball

I am a music-loving, engineering, gospel-preaching missionary in Albania. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a love of music, of my family, and of people. I play the saxophone, play the piano, and sing (and I dabble on the harmonica). I love doing active things, but am also a huge fan of just relaxing and watching a movie. I love walking on sidewalk curbs, being the last person in lines, and talking to strangers. I recently finished my first year of college where I am studying to become an engineer. Just an average ginger teenager I guess!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of Mormons, but I have remained a Mormon because I have come to know of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of His church upon the earth. While others might have a very involved way of coming to believe in this Gospel, mine is quite simple. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior Jesus Christ. I know they wish the best for me and that the best can be found by living the Gospel. I wish ever so much to return to my Father in Heaven and that through living as He has asked that I can. I am a Mormon because any other way doesn't make sense to not only my mind, but to my heart. I am a Mormon because when Joseph Smith restored the Christ's church to the earth, he restored a truth that I will not deny. A truth that I cannot deny. A truth that I would never wish to deny. I am a Mormon because I love my Savior and I know that He knows and loves me.

How I live my faith

I try hard to live and exemplify my faith in Jesus Christ. I am a part of the men's organization in my ward. I have helped to organize and plan events and social activities. I try to fellowship unfamiliar people and help them to feel at home among the members of Christ's church. As part of my participation in my faith I go to visit people in my ward to help them to come to Christ and to help them whenever they are in a time of need. This summer I will be leaving as a missionary for south-eastern Europe. I will be working to spread the Word of God and the love that God has for all among His children there. Though these are big ways in which I strive to live my Faith, I think most of the biggest things happen on a day to day basis. Things such as saying hello to those I see. Smiling at someone I pass on the sidewalk. Listening to someone who looks down, lonely or sad. It is the little things that really show how I live my faith.
