Hi I'm Landon Swalberg

I am from Dallas, Texas. I love to sing, play, and record music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently go to college and am about to graduate with my Associates of Science degree. I am studying Mathematics, but my true passion resides in music. I love to sing and play the guitar and recording my own original songs. I also love to go camping with friends and family, and simply enjoy the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were raised in this church, and their parents, and their parents too. But no matter how long my family has been in this church, I too had to find out for myself why this church was true and how it would help me. I was taught that my Father in Heaven will listen to and answer my prayers, and that is why I know this church is Christ's restored church. This meant that anyone could tell me that this church holds the truth, but what it really came down to was that "I" could pray to my Heavenly Father (in faith and a sincere heart) if this church is true. And when ever I pray about something this church teaches me, I receive a conformation that is true and am then guided in how to live these truths. The Book of Mormon is a book that I have read and prayed about many times and I KNOW it is true. My Heavenly Father has bared witness of its truthfulness to me and I have received answers to my deepest questions in its pages. This church gives me a real purpose in life. It guides me to become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Father who is in Heaven here on earth so that I might live with him again after this life.

How I live my faith

As a part of Christ's church, I hope to uplift and strengthen God's children in my area. In my ward,(congregation) I serve by helping teach and visit those who are struggling or not coming to church with our ward's full time missionaries. I also have the opportunity to visit families in our ward with another member of our ward to tell them a message that will hopefully strengthen their faith in Christ and his church.
