Hi I'm Kelsey

I was adopted at eight years old. I am a dancer. I am a Fiancé. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was adopted by my grandparents when I was eight years old. I grew up never knowing who my birthfather was. My grandparents raised me to be strong. I have been dancing since I was three years old. During my preteen years I discovered that dance was a way for me to express myself. Dance is my passion. I am going to BYU-Idaho and I love every minute of it. I am study sociology with pre-law. I am marrying my best friend in June of this year.

Why I am a Mormon

I was truly converted to this gospel when I was a teenager. I grew up in the church but never really understood how much I needed it until later in my life. When I was twelve years old I was sexually abused by a family friend and I really felt like my world began to crash all around me, and I developed depression. It was an extremely difficult time for me, but then I gradually realized that everything Mormonism had to offer was what I truly needed. This religion heals hearts and souls. It has healed my heart by introducing me to my Heavenly Father, my creator. The being that has provided me a way to be happy. It introduced me to Jesus Christ, my Savior and my healer. This gospel is true and right. It is the pathway to true joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I am a ward greeter in my ward in Rexburg. I get to greet people and welcome them to church on Sunday. My job is mostly to smile and love those I serve. I am also get to visit two great girls once a month.
