Hi I'm Madison Rush

I was born and raised in the Arizona sun. I love adventures and laughter. But most of all, I love being a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating high school I continued on to Brigham Young University to study Public Health. I have absolutely loved learning about health issues of the world and hope someday to find a career in this area. I love exploring, adventures and meeting new people. Cultures of the world fascinate me and I love to travel. Soon I be leaving to serve a mission in the Dominican Republic. Although I will miss my family very much I am so excited for this opportunity in my life and the adventure and spirit it will bring.

Why I am a Mormon

C.S. Lewis once said, "I believe in God like I believe in the sun, not because I can see it, but because by it, all things are seen." Although I have not seen God with own two eyes, I have felt him with my heart and seen his grace my life. Every day I am in awe at the beauty of our magnificent earth and the passion of the people who fill it and I know there must be a God. Through prayer I have come to know for myself that God is real and that God is good. Christ is my Savior and I know that he paid the price for me so that someday I may have eternal life. Living this gospel may not be easy but it is worth it and it makes me so very happy.

How I live my faith

Every day I read my scriptures, pray and try to become more like Christ. Living my faith, to me, means letting my light shine. I try to live and interact in such a way that people will never question that I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. I hope that as I serve the people in the Dominican Republic I will be able to help them feel the happiness which this gospel brings to me.
