Hi I'm Bryon Alger

I'm the oldest of 7, I'm a college student and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the oldest of 7 children. I also attend BYU, however, right now I am taking time off to serve a mission in Fukuoka Japan. I am harvesting the Lord's Vinyard in Japan. His feild is white and I am ready to harvest. I love sports, especially basketball, football and snowboarding. I plan on finishing school after my mission and then attend either medical or dental school.

Why I am a Mormon

I used to be Mormon just because my parents were and I grew up in the church. But after a while I gained a testimony of my own and now I am Mormon because I have learned for myself that this church is true! I have come to realize that living this gospel makes me a happier person, when I deviate from living the gospel my life feels empty and pointless.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to serve others and treat them kindly. I also attend church regularly. The biggest part of how I live my faith is what I do personally, that is, pray and read my scriptures on my own. Everyday I try and improve upon my own Christlike attributes. Faith, Hope, Patience, Virtue, knowledge, Diligence, etc. It takes a lifetime to develop all of these so I might as well start now! I am also living my faith by serving a mission.
