Hi I'm Gwen

I am a mother of 7 children. After my children were raised I went to school and became a medical assistant.

About Me

My life has been centered on my family and my beliefs. Even though I did not have the opportunity to go to college I have continued to develop talents and become educated in things I have been interested in learning about. I have been in professional choirs, have learned to play the piano, developed computer skills, learned how to quilt and after my children were raised I went to school and became a medical assistant.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. The principles and values that I have been taught has helped me to be truly happy. I have not lived a perfect life but knowing that I can repent and begin again has been such a blessing in my life. I know that God lives and that he knows and loves each of us. He knows our struggles and challenges and is always there to help us when we need his help. I turned to him often as I was raising my children for guidance and help as to know how to handle certain situations. My children are all married now raising their own families and it has been such a rewarding experience to watch them teaching their children the values and things that will truly make them happy. Life can be so difficult sometimes , but we are not expected to do it on our own. All we have to do is ask and God is there to help. He wants us to be able to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I know that everyone here on earth is a child of God and he loves us all. I find great joy in helping and serving others. I believe that example speaks much louder than words. Working side by side with other women and young people has given me many opportunities to live what I believe and constantly learn from others. Recently my husband and I had the opportunity to work with young college aged kids, it was so rewarding to work along side them in helping and encouraging them to live up to their potential as children of God. There is nothing better than to help others overcome challenges that are keeping them from progressing and becoming the person that God wants us to be.
