Hi I'm Taylor

I was born with cystic fibrosis, I have ran three half marathons, and I am serving a mission in Tampa Florida I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old male with Cystic Fibrosis I love to do all sorts of activites. I love to play all kinds of sports, and go camping outdoors, and I also love to read, play chess, and play video games. I am enrolled in college. I also love to run and have run in three Half Marathons.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I was born in the church but as a kid I grew up really quickly due to my Cystic Fibrosis which is a lung disease that causes thick sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and pancreas and usually causes a premature death in those afflicted by it. When I was growing up I was scared because I didn't understand why god had given me such a horrible disease. I didn't see how much he had blessed me with I was only focused on the negative things in my life. As I grew up I began to learn more about Gods plan for me, called the Plan of Salvation I remember feeling a hope and a brightness fill my life, as I realized how much my Heavenly Father had done for me. This knowledge is what has lead me to continue in the faith of my parents. For I know that God will always help his children and he has given us all a way to one day be free of the sicknesses, pains, and afflictions that we face in this world. This knowledge has given me hope and has allowed me to be able to live my life as best I can, trying to always follow the Savior and his teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as a Missionary for the Church currently. Missionaries go around and teach the Gospel to others and teach about Christ and our church and our beliefs. We try to help everyone we teach strenghten thier faith in The Saviour and Try to help them come closer to Christ. we spend two years away from home and our friends, family, colleges, education, jobs, sports and any other activites we might enjoy because we want to help others learn about the joy that the Gospel has brought into our lives. I also try to personally live my faith by always serving others and always helping others out with their problems. Smiling alot also helps I try my best to live like Christ did and try to always look out for others more than myself and have charity for others.
