Hi I'm Vaughn

I am a general contractor. My family and the Gospel of Christ are the most important things in my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 7 children. We currently have 18 grandchildren. I love to do things with my family. One of my favorites has been teaching my grandchildren how to snowboard. I graduated from college in business management and now run my own successful home building company. Serving others is important to me. There is always someone who can use some help if you can make yourself available.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it feels right to me. As I read the scriptures, attend my church meetings, and serve others, I feel the promptings of the Holy Ghost telling me that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true. I also feel that my Heavenly Father knows me, loves me, and helps me to grow through life's experiences. My understanding of his plan for us helps me to live my life with confidence, a positive attitude, and purpose. I love being a member of the Church.

How I live my faith

My faith has always been an important part of my life. I attend church every Sunday. I study the scriptures and have served in many callings in my church. I have especially loved working with the youth of the church. I try to live the values that I learn about in the scriptures and that I am taught at church. These values have guided my actions in my family, business, and everyday life. I'm not perfect, but working on it. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and try to follow his example.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Vaughn
Knowing the purpose for my life really makes a difference. It helps me to be confident and happy when things get hard because I understand that this is an opportunity to grow. It helps me to make the right choices because I understand that we are learning to exercise our agency. My relationship with my family and others is enhanced because I understand how much God loves all of us and wants us to succeed. I am so thankful that I can be with my family forever.
