Hi I'm Narda

I grew up in Ontario Canada. I love to sew. I used to own a bakery. I am a Mormon

About Me

I am married to an awesome man for 38 years and am a mother of 3 great boys and have 7 wonderful grandchildren. I love to sew clothes and quilt. I enjoy doing crossword puzzles. I like to go golfing, shopping, spending time with family. I am a snowbird and spend 6 months in Arizona in the winter.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Mormon Church because it is not just a Sunday Church It is a Sunday to Sunday Church. You live the gospel 24/7. They answer questions like why am I here and where am I going and what happens after I die. They teach you how to be a better person. After you are baptized you receive the Holy Ghost which helps you to know the truth of all things that you pray about. You are a much happier person because you now know your purpose here on earth and there is always someone you can go to if you are struggling or down. You can feel the presence of the Lord in your life and it makes you want to do good continually. You feel good about yourself when you do the right things. I have gone to many churches and When the missionaries came and taught us about this church I prayed about it and I just Knew it was the true church and so I joined. I have never regretted it . It has helped me to be a better person, mother, wife, sister and friend. I hate to think where I might be today if I had not joined. The church and it's teachings give you strength when trials come and show you that if you rely on God he will help you through them . I know this church is True I know it is led by a modern Day Prophet and I know you will be able to return to our Heavenly Father by abiding by its teachings

How I live my faith

I go to church each Sunday and help take care of children from 18 mo. to 3 years old so their parents can enjoy their gospel classes. I also participate in the oldest and largest women's organization in the world at our church every Sunday ..it is called Relief Society. Here we learn how to be better wives ,mothers, daughters friends and especially how to relate to our Father in Heaven as we are all a children of God. I do compassionate service quite often by bringing meals to people who are sick, driving people to doctor appointments, babysitting for friends and teaching lessons. I also prepare talks when asked to give one during Sacrament. Myself and another member of the "Relief Society" go together once a month to visit 3 or 4 women in our Ward to see how they are doing and see if they need any help or if there is anything we can do for them. and in turn I receive a call from 2 women who come to see that I am doing okay.
