Hi I'm Kimberly Marie Roos

I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Kimberly Marie Roos. I'm 20 years old and currently serving a mission in Curitiba, Brazil. I was involved in many extra-curricular activities in high school including Student Council, National Honors Society, Soccer, and Gymnastics. After I graduated, I moved to Texas to start college and work as a nanny. Six months later, I moved to Michigan and did the same thing. After I finished, I made the choice to move to Poco de Caldas, Brazil for a semester to teach English. It was the best choice I could have made because it helped prepare me for my mission. I'm so grateful for this opportunity to serve the Lord and love that my time is 100% His.

Why I am a Mormon

The most basic answer to this question is this: It is true. Who wouldn't want to have the gospel in their life? It's the best thing someone can do for themselves and their family. God loves us more then we can even imagine. He sent His son so we can live with Him again. I'm so grateful for my eternal family and I'm so excited for the chance to be sealed to my future husband (who is also my best friend) for eternity. I know this gospel is the only thing in life that will make someone truly happy and can't imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I feel it's important to not just say you are a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but also that you live it competely. I try to live by the quote "Do others who don't know Christ but know you, want to know Christ because they know you?". I do my best to be Christ-like, loving, and understanding to others. I have enjoyed teaching children about the gospel and eternal families as a Primary teacher.
