Hi I'm Hunter Dayne Williams

I grew up in Las Vegas Nevada. In school I played football, soccer, and was on the track team. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Hunter. I'm from Las Vegas Nevada and I am the youngest of four boys in my family. In high school I played football, soccer, and was on the track team. I was a member of the student council and I loved to hang out with my friends on the council. I also like to ride horses, listen to music, travel, hike, play the banjo, and I absolutely LOVE to play the violin. I went to school at BYU-Hawaii and had a great time living there. I surfed, snorkeled, hiked. went spear fishing, spent a lot of time at the beach, and of course played the violin. another one of my favorite things to do is read, and I do it quite often. My favorite series is the Harry Potter series but I also love the Lord of The Rings, and Star Wars. I read lots of comics as well. If I could build the perfect house it would have a ginormous library (with shelves so high you need those cool ladders on wheels), a music room, and a really really comfortable living room where I could have a ton of friends over all at once.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this Church because I can feel something inside me when I attend this church. I can feel something when the teachers talk about what this church believes in and I feel much happier when this feeling comes over me. When I first decided to find out for myself whether this church was true or not I knelt in prayer to speak with my Heavenly Father and an overwhelming feeling of peace and comfort came over me, confirming that this was going to make me happy and that I need to be a part of this church more than anything else. I know this church is true and I love being a member of it.

How I live my faith

In my life I have quite a few friends who do not share the same standards that I have, and love them all very very much. And being from Las Vegas theres many many other things around me that aren't in line with the standards I grew up with. I strive to live my life in the way that I know brings me peace and happiness. I do what I know to be right and I never let any else make desicions for me, not even my parents, my brothers, or my closest friends. I live my faith by MY faith, not someone elses. I go to church on Sundays and strive to live my life in harmony with the things I learn there.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Hunter Dayne Williams
Mormons definately do not just help other mormons. That would be contradictory to the mormon beliefs. The Mormon Church has donated more than 1$ billion in cash and materials to 167 different countries in need of help who many of which, have few or no mormons at all and are also non-Christian. We believe in following the example of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ helped everyone, he never turned anyone away. As mormons we want to help God's children. It doesn't matter if they don't share our beliefs or our standards because they share our Heavenly Father, and that makes them the most important thing ever. Show more Show less
