Hi I'm Linda (Maddox) Reber

I'm the mother of an incredible family--awesome husband and 8 amazing children. I'm a Mormon, the Gosple is true.

About Me

I was born and raised in California. My mother was born in Italy and was a strong Catholic girl. She met Mormons in the neighborhood who she admired. We began attending Primary and my mom and sister were soon baptized. I can't remember a time where I didn't have a testimony of the Gospel. I have been so blessed to be able to rely on the Lord for answers to life's questions. I enjoy my family. I love spending time with them and loving them. I have always enjoyed sports and love being on teams. We were able to adopt 6 of our 8 children. They are all very unique and have made our lives rich and fun. It was such a blessing to take our family after each adoption and have that child sealed to us for time and all eternity. Even though we've gathered our children from around the world, we are one family sealed for time and throughout all eternity. I take great comfort that my family will be together forever. I have been privileged to be encircled by my favorite people. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers. I love them very much, I also love their children and spouses. My greatest love is spending time with those I love. I taught at the college for 15 years. It was a great way to meet people and learn to love others. I have missed that interaction, but feel that I utilize my time staying home with my family. My greatest hero are my parents. They have kept us close and tied to the Gospel. I know they have sacrificed a lot for my happiness.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a firm testimony and belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. I believe in apostles and prophets, both modern and current I know that the Lord restored the Gospel through Joseph Smith. I love the people who are in this church. I love that I always have a family around me through the church. Although I'm not perfect, I attend church regularly so that I can learn to become perfect. I have been so blessed to know the Church is true.

How I live my faith

In the middle 1980's I served a full-time mission in the Netherlands/Belgium mission. I learned to be passionate about the Gospel. I could see first hand the value of knowing God. I could see the suffering that had occurred during WW1 and WW2. I love children and work in an elementary school teaching computer classes. It is such a blessing to be able to work with God's humblest children. It is uplifting and fulfilling.
