Hi I'm Michael Pollard

I'm a musician. I love good food, sunsets, and spending time with those I love. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Draper, Utah my whole life. In my family, I have my parents and six older sisters. I am not joking. I love my family and we have a great time together. Music in every way really makes me happy. I play the drums, piano, and guitar and I love to sing. I have studied music at university. Living in Utah is great for the outdoors. I enjoy basketball, snowboarding, and going to Lake Powell. I am currently serving as a missionary for the church in London, England. I have been here for eighteen months. I love being able to share my beliefs with others. I find so much joy when I see other people find happiness through the message that I share with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found that the only way to real and lasting happiness is by following the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know that we have a Heavenly Father who knows us individually. He loves us. When we understand who we really are, we understand our reason for being here on earth. We understand why certain things happen to each of us. And we then know the things that we need to do to prepare to live after this life. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and through Him, I can be clean. I know that by following God's plan, we can be with our families forever. I know that the Bible and the Book of Mormon are true. The Book of Mormon is evidence of the Restoration of the Gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that it is true because I have taken the time to study it and pray about it. Anyone who does this can come to know it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day. My faith isn't just a once a week thing, but it is something that shapes my life. I find so much happiness from my beliefs. As a missionary I have the opportunity to tell others about the church full-time. We move all around England and work with the local congregations. I live my faith by sharing what I have come to know, and inviting others to try what I have tried.
