Hi I'm Beverly Andersen

I'm from St. George, UT. I love talking to people. I love music. And you better believe I am a Mormon. : )

About Me

I am 19 years old. I graduated from high school in 2012. I am currently serving a mission for the church in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission! I absoluetly love talking to people, especially old people :) I have grown to love their expierences and their ability to love. I have adopted many as my grandparents. I have played the piano since I was 4 years old and the Viola since I was 11. I love music, It has shaped my life. I love scrapbooking and writing in my journal. OH! and I love putting together my photo album! It calms me down. Yes, I am just as normal as anyone else, but the thing is I am not normal, No one is. When I was little I had lost 35 percent of my hearing, I loved to sing as a kid and wanted to sing at my baptism, I could not sing on key at all! I practiced so hard so it would be good, but of course I sounded the same. But something special happened at my baptism, when I sang I sang every note in tune! My mom told me "Beverly, you sang every note right!" That was the day I recieved my hearing. It was a great miracle and a blessign. I testify that miracles are still happening everyday! It happened to me! Heavenly Father knows us and knows what we need. Granted, I still have a lot of ear problems but I can hear, and that is all that matters.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is True! I have prayed and read the Book of Mormon to know for myself. The church changes my life and those around me for the good, it is what has shaped me into the person I am today. I live it, I know it and I love it!

How I live my faith

Each day of my life I pray to my Heavenly Father, sometimes or most of the time it isn't even kneeling down by my bed but rather I am constantly talking to him. I tell him everything. Every expierence I go through and every temptation I face, the Lord knows. I am constantly asking for strength to endure. I know that there is nothing in this world that I will be given that I can't face. The Lord is always by my side giving me guidance. He feels and knows my happiness. my sorrows, my fears, my pain, my joys: EVERYTHING!! that's why I can trust Him and that's why I know He loves me! He will always be there and will always guide my life down the right path. I never know what I will be faced with next, but I know I CAN DO IT! I feel sometimes I have a blindfold on and I have taken His hand. He knows what is best for me and will NEVER, NO NEVER, lead me astray!

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Beverly Andersen
We like to help everyone! That is what our church is all about, SERVICE! The Lord's answer to "Which is the greatest of all the commandments" was "Love thy neighbor," and that is exactly what we do! Our church has helped many around the world and are continueing to do so. We also help all those in our own communities and neighborhoods. Show more Show less
