Hi I'm James

I grew up in LA. I love music. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the greater Los Angeles region. My parents have always tried to help me be as well rounded as possible. I have a great love for music and art. Going to shows and art museums with friends or family are great ways to spend my time. My friends know that if i am home i am probably playing my guitar. Currently i am studying business and finance and hope to be able to finish up my degree. Business is something that has always fascinated me. I enjoy learning about the corporate world and what makes it tick. I enjoy my friends. Without them i would not be where i am today. Friends make my world go round :)

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church has always been tough for me. There were certain things that I didnt necessarily understand or agree with as a teenager. Although i went to church more or less every sunday, I didn't feel like I belonged. The crowd and scene that i associated with did not seem to be accepted by the people around me. There were also people there that just seemed to make life difficult. Because of this i felt separated and i did not seem to be getting anything out of church. It was when a friend invited me to go and watch General Conference that things just clicked for me. Something about being there just helped everything to fall into place. Suddenly the lines between my life and the gospel just disappeared. Since then I have realized that i can fully participate in the church while still being me. Being a part of this church is something unique. People with all different back rounds, styles, and interests can be found here and everyone is quite content.

How I live my faith

Currently i am serving as a missionary in the England London Mission. Growing up, this is something that i never imagined myself doing. But now that i am here i am incredibly happy that i made this decision. I don't think i could have ever imagined all of the great times that i would have been missing out on and for all of the learning experiences that i so dearly cherish.
