Hi I'm David Moraza

Hi! I'm David. I was born in the Sunny Spain. I studied International Trade. I'm a writer, I love NYC and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hola! A movie and ice cream is all you need to make me happy, but a chimney and a book is one of those pleasures that in a busy world I like to have. That is one of the reasons that made me start writing. I love writing novels and movies scripts, and I would like to become a Film Director at one point of my life. I wrote a novel and had many projects that I couldn't finish since I came on my mission. Yes! I am a missionary in England London Mission. I really enjoy video games and I love music, from jazz to pop, from classical to reggae. I am in love with organ music. If I could, I'd spend a lot of time just traveling all over the world. My favourite city is New York, and there I want to live. Leaving NYC was a challenge. I like languages as well, and I try to learn as much as possible. I speak Spanish and English (I guess), but I am working on my Japanese (Watashi wa Nihongo ga suki desu!). I am learning Portuguese in my mission. Even when my dream is to be a Film Director, I have a College degree in International Trade, which is mainly Marketing. I would like to continue with that at uni.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I know this is the true church since I received a confirmation of the Holy Ghost. Because I know the Book of Mormon is true. I know Joseph Smith was a Prophet called by God, and I know that Thomas S. Monsoon is a living Prophet. Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, is His Church. I know this things through prayer and the fruits of the Holy Ghost, and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I think the gospel is universal. It doesn't matter who you are, it is going to make you happier. When I was in Spain I was a teacher in church and a pianist for the children. I think there is nothing better to do on Sunday but going to church. Meeting you friends and family in a happy and warm atmosphere is priceless. I have too much to be thankful for that I couldn't fit it even in my mind. I am grateful for parents who taught me lovingly and patiently about Jesus Christ and His church. And I couldn't be thankful for the church without thanking God for his most precious gift, His Son Jesus Christ. Thinking about it, I don't think I would survive in this world without the church. The Church is not a weekend organisation but a full time organisation. As a missionary one serves the Lord extra-full time, but as a member you still serve the Lord full time. Being a latter-day saint is an inner and permanent thing. We are always representing Jesus Christ and his church, and this is the reason being a Mormon brings so much happiness, because we are fully fulfilling our purpose in life. I am very grateful for the Church and for the knowledge that God has given me. I am grateful for who I am, and I am very grateful for being close to God and for knowing God closely through the scriptures and the Spirit. I am grateful because with him, my dreams are reachable for with him nothing is impossible for me and my happiness!
