Hi I'm Nicole

I love music. I love my family. I love serving the Lord as a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love colors. Mainly blue and red. I doodle in my spare time. I learned how to spin my pen on my fingers. Basketball is the greatest sport ever! Although water polo is a close second! Music touches my soul in a way that words cannot. I play the piano. I was a college student. I will be majoring in math. I love how beautiful the Earth his. I love the Gospel of the Lord. I love my family and my friends. I love people. I have had my struggles in life. But with God I have overcome them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church. I didn't really understand what a testimony was. It took me a long time to know that I had a testimony of the Gospel or of our Lord and Savior. That came with time, trials, and a desire to know. When I went to the temple, where I believed from my youth that that was where God dwelt and that all promises we make to serve him lead there. I made a promise with him that if he would help me repent of my sins, I would dedicate my life to serving him. BECAUSE HE HAS FORGIVEN ME OF MY SINS AND ALSO STRENGTHENED ME TO OVERCOME THEM I HAVE A DESIRE TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD MY KNOWLEDGE THAT HE IS THE CHRIST. THAT HE LIVED AND DIED FOR US. THAT HE LIVED AGAIN SO THAT WE MIGHT LIVE WITH HIM AGAIN. BECAUSE I HAVE HAD FAITH IN HIM, AND BEGUN TO BECOME LIKE HIM I CAN LIVE WITH HIM AGAIN. I KNOW THIS IS THE TRUE CHURCH. AND I CANNOT DENY IT. I KNOW THAT HE KNOWS EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US, AND THAT WE CAN KNOW THESE TRUTHS FOR OURSELVES. YOU CAN KNOW TOO AS YOU READ THE BOOK OF MORMON AND PRAY TO KNOW. I love how kind the Lord is to us. Serving Him makes me happier then anything else. I know He loves me, and that is why I AM A MORMON.

How I live my faith

I think that what this question is really asking is how am I a disciple of Jesus Christ. I live my faith by doing those things that would make Him proud. I try to take care of my family, which is really God's family....I want to be a big sister to anyone in need. I want to do my best to take care of the people that God has given me. I read my scriptures and I try to understand what God wants me to do. I am happy because I do those things that God wants me to do. That is enough for me :)

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

If you were blessed with something in this life, that not only change your life here, but also in the next life wouldn't you want to share it with the people you loved most? What if the people you love have passed on? Is it fair for them to not live with God because they didn't have the opportunity to learn in this life?? We believe that in the next life that they can choose to learn about God's Plan of Happiness. However in order to be baptized you need to have a physical body. And that is where we come in! Because we love the people who have come before us and because we have a body we are baptized for them through the proper authority. This gives their spirits the opportunity to not only accept the Plan of Happiness and but also to be with God. We do not force this on them. They still have the choice to accept or reject our message. All we have done is open the door for them to step through. I have participated in baptisms for the dead. I am grateful that I am able to serve all of God's children regardless of the state of their lives. Because I have participated in baptisms for the dead, my days start more peaceful, and I am able to focus on other people's needs. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus IS the Only Begotten of the Father. He loves us and He wants us to live with him again. Because of that love Jesus Christ suffered in Gethsemane, not only for our sins, but for all of the pains that we would go through. Because of that suffering He understands us, and we can rely on his strength to get us through our trials. After his death He lived again, and He lives today. And because of that we can live with God again if we follow his path and repent. Show more Show less
