Hi I'm Liz

I love my family. I love Roy, Utah. I love the Gospel! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with a brother and sisters that I love dearly and a mom and dad that I adore. I've led a fairly ideal life growing up in a small town, playing on my high school tennis team, getting into shenanigans with my friends and playing with my turtle and two dogs. I was accepted to study at Utah State University, majoring in Biology. Whilst there, I participated in many an outdoor adventure... and studied rigorously :) I enjoy eating frostys, watching movies, quiet time with my beta Gregorio, being outside, driving fast, eating cookies, and exchanging witty comments. Overall, I am a pretty simple person. I like to be with people and have been blessed to meet some quite remarkable people.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from line of faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and am thankful for the stalwart examples of those who have come before. This righteous heritage has set my feet on the path of Salvation, but it has been through developing a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father as well as my Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ that I have progressed along the road that leads to eternal happiness. This life is riddled with sorrows and trials and at times it seems as though "all the elements combine to hedge up the way," but we can still retain our hope. I have had the Spirit of the Lord burn a sweet testimony to my soul that the heartbreak of this world is not all there is. There is a place prepared for the righteous saints of the Lord and I will live my life to attain this paradise. I know that this is God's plan for all of His children, that it is His work and glory to bring our immortal souls home to Him, a place where we shall rest, a state of peace, where we shall rest from all our troubles and from all care and sorrow. Our time in this life is uncertain, but we can trust in our God. All is well.

How I live my faith

For a short time in my life, I have the opportunity to serve the people in the greater Taipei, Taiwan area by sharing that Jesus Christ's Gospel has been restored again to the earth and we are led by a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, yeah! However, when it comes to living my faith, Jesus told unto us what we should do: "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (John 13:34-35) How great it would be to be recognized as a believer of Christ just by the way that we love others! This is my hope, and how I strive to live my faith.
