Hi I'm Byron

I'm a nature and outdoor lover. Currently I am studying Conservation and Forestry. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a student studying Conservation and Forest Ecosystems and have a deep love and sense of responsibility for the world we live in. I enjoy outdoor sports and recreation such as hiking, camping, fishing and snowboarding. I have been married for 5 years and enjoying spending time with my wife whenever possible.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was young my family attended various churches. This gave me a great grounding in understanding the gospel of Jesus Christ. As a teenager I made the decision to stop going to church but continued to try to live a good life. A few years down the line I met my wife who was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Through her great example and devotion to what she believed in I became interested to learn more about the church. She invited me to attend a Sunday meeting and I am glad I did, I could feel the holy spirit and was touched by the genuine friendliness of the people there. I continue to attend church as my life is filled with happiness and blessing as a obey the commandments of God. My family is watched over and our prayers answered without fail and I know this is because God loves and cares for me, he wants me to achieve my true potential.

How I live my faith

I was baptized into the church just before I turned 21 and have had the wonderful opportunity of working with the young men of the church. Teaching them the gospel as well as playing sports and helping them to learn important life skills is very rewarding and often good fun! Sharing the gospel message with people in the local community is also a part of every church members responsibility. I try to do this by being a good example to all those around me and helping neighbours whenever I can.
