Hi I'm Fabrizio Ricciardi

I grew up in Italy where I lived most of my life. Now I live in London. I m a mormon

About Me

I am 52 years old, I am happily married and a father of two wonderful children. I work for a Freight Forwarding Company in London. I have a been a competitive swimmer and love singing, playing piano and guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon! Many years ago a good friend of mine who was a member of the Church shared the Gospel with me. I was at first a bit reluctant but as I listened carefully to the message brought by the missionaries I felt that it was true and that I had to act upon that knowledge by being baptized. I was baptized on September 6th, one day before my 18th birthday. Here I am after 25 years more then ever being happy to be a member of the Church. In all these years I have come to know that God lives, that He is my Father in Heaven and that He loves me. I have come to know that He sent His Son Jesus to earth to save me from my sins.He really died and rose again after three days from the tomb!!I know that He is my Savior and Redeemer. I know that there is a plan of salvation, that we are here for a purpose. There is a life after death, our family bonds can last forever even beyond the grave. I know that the Church that existed on the earth at the time of Christ was restored to the earth, once again through the prophet Joseph Smith. He indeed brought forth a book of scriptures, the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that I am a better man because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I know that I am far from being perfect but I know that as I strive to live up the teaching of the Savior, that surely makes a better man. Life is not always easy. The Gospel of Jesus Christ can be both an anchor and a beacon to help us in times of trials, sorrow and hardship. The peace that it brings in our lives is like a divine balsam that can heal even the deepest of wounds.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of the Church! I was converted many years ago when I was a teenage and without any doubt this has surely been one of the best choices I ever made in my life. I served a mission in the West Midlands in the UK from 1985 to 1987. I served in many positions in the Church but I don't feel that it's important where you serve but how you serve. I am confident that the most important calling in my life are those within the family. My profound objective is to be a good husband to my wife and a good father to my children. At the moment I am serving as 1st counsellor in the Hyde Park Stake in London, UK.
