Hi I'm Corey Jensen

I love my family, my dog, the outdoors, and Austria. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently living in Vienna, Austria and serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ. Every day I get the chance to go out and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these awesome people. I love it. As far as info about me goes, I like to do lots of things and have a lot of interests. But I´ll stick to the basics! I have two great parents and a brother and sister-in-law who are the best. I like the great outdoors- skiing, mountain biking, camping with my dog up in the mountains, all those great things. I also enjoy sport. Football and basketball are the favorites. I love adventure as well! My profile pic was taken in Australia as a friend and I traveled around and worked for a bit before I left to Austria on my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been so blessed my whole life. My parents and brother are the best, my friends are great examples to me, i have and have had great dogs, and my childhood was soooo fun. I grew up in the Church so i havent known anything else really. But even though a person may grow up in the Church, it doesnt mean that person doesnt have to find out for themselves if it is really true. I had to decide for myself if I truly believed. Especially as I was deciding to serve a mission. I can say I do know these things are true, through the Holy Ghost. I asked God in Christ's name and He answered. God lives and is our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ lives and is our Savior. I know the Gospel of Jesus Christ is true and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints contains the fulness of that Gospel and no other Church on earth has it. The Holy Ghost lets us know these things are true, and all other truths about life. All we have to do is ask. Through Jesus Christ and His Atonement we can experience true joy and happiness in this life and the next. I know it!

How I live my faith

My faith has influenced me my whole life. Of course i make mistakes, but i try my best to live according to what i believe and know to be true. My dad and i served a couple of families in our nieghborhood as 'hometeachers' together and enjoyed that very much. We especially did a lot when it was winter, plowing tons of snow! I also helped teach the youth with a friend (he is on his mission in Argentina). That was a way fun thing to do, and a great blessing. The youth were awesome and we had tons of fun. And now i have been given the chance to serve the Lord for two years of my life. I understand now, better than ever, that without works your faith means nothing. We must show God we believe.
