Hi I'm Alicia

I love to paper craft. I found the gospel when I was 15. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Originally from Fair Oaks, California, I'm a mother of three teenagers and I've been married for(ever), 22 years. I consider myself a pretty crafty gal. I dabble daily in sewing, crafting with paper, crochet, paint and graphic design.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ entered my life at the at of 14, as a freshman in high school. I was so ready to hear the comforting truth of eternal life and the joy our Heavenly Father wants us to have both here on earth and after. I was baptized when I was 15 in Fair Oaks, California. Later I discovered that my own parents had joined the church a year before I was born, but had drifted away from it and each other within a few years of my birth. I never knew until after the fact that I had been blessed as an infant in and LDS Chapel by a worthy priesthood holder. I know that my Father in Heaven knows me and had kept me prepared for accepting the gospel later in my life. God is real. Joy can be found. We are all loved beyond our comprehension.

How I live my faith

Life has it's ups and downs for sure, with the help of my family and most of all my Savior I am getting by, one moment at a time. :) I've suffered from severe depression for nearly my entire life, all of my light and hope lies in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many days that is all I have to lean upon, especially when the darkness seems to overwhelm me. I am happy when I feel the joy that peace can bring to my heart, that is what I look for and find through scripture study and personal prayer.
