Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Idaho, and I love math, science, and volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in rural Idaho. I am the middle child of a family of five. I like math science, and reading. In fact, any spare time I have I read, from books like "Jesus the Christ" by Talmage to "The Ranger's Apprentice" by John Flanagan.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel at peace when I listen to the teachings we're taught. I feel an inner happiness that is beyond description. I have had no miraculous, lightning-like conversion. Instead, my conversion has been the slow, sure movement of the sunrise. I have learned line upon line, precept upon precept until I know for myself that we have a loving Father in heaven, and that Jesus Christ is His literal Son. I know Christ suffered so that He can save us from our sins. We cannot be saved in our sins. We must come unto Christ to be saved.

How I live my faith

I enjoy participating in church callings. I have served in the presidency of two age groups (the 12-13 year olds and the 14-15 year olds). I place great importance on daily scripture study and personal prayer. I also enjoy actively participating in my local seminary classes. I love learning about the gospel.
