Hi I'm Sam

I grew up in Oregon, spent a year at Southern Utah University, & was called to serve in Colombia Medellin. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy camping and hiking, along with pretty much anything in the outdoors. I especially like to participate in high thrill activities; for example, I have gone skydiving and an interested in trying base jumping. I went to college for a year at Southern Utah University, where I studied Pre-Med, then came home to work and prepare for a mission. I worked at Stanley Steemer, and yes, I do sing the jingle. I received my mission call in the mail on October 25, and opened on October 28 to find that I had been called to serve in the Colombia Medellin mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have studied he scriptures and prayerfully asked of my Heavenly Father to know if this church was true. I have a strong testimony that, regardless of what is happening in life, the church has always been and will continue to be a strong cornerstone on which the build my life. I have not only seen the ways the church has blessed me, but also the ways it has blessed other people, whether or not they are members. All of my memories and interactions involving the church are accompanied by a sense of a loving family.

How I live my faith

I attend Church regularly, say prayers every morning and evening, asking and thanking my Heavenly Father for my many blessings, and the blessings of those around me. I study my scriptures diligently, and seek guidance from them. I was, for a short period, a Webelos den leader in my home ward, and was Ward Mission leader in my college ward.
