Hi I'm Adrienne

I'm a uni student studying Arabic. I love foreign languages and playing tennis. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love learning. Knowledge truly is power, and the more I learn and grow, the better a person I become. I study foreign languages; I speak Spanish and French, a little bit of Danish and German, and I am studying Arabic in university. I also love to be outside, especially when playing tennis.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel brings me joy. I love knowing that Heavenly Father is real, and He knows me personally. He knows how I feel each day and He wants me to be happy. I know from experience that when I follow Christ's teachings, I am a better version of myself. I can accomplish more, do more good, and become more whole by following Him. I feel closer to God. I also know that when I disobey Him, I will make mistakes and be unhappy. Following the teachings of Christ helps me know who I am-- I am a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

In high school, I would go with the missionaries from our church and be an interpreter when they taught people who spoke Spanish. I helped teach a Sunday school class for Spanish-speakers, and it brought me joy to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Spanish language. I'm a Sunday school teacher in my university congregation. I do my best to make the class a place where we can learn from the Spirit. I love helping others feel the joy I feel. I am also learning Danish so that I can do family history work for myself and others.
