Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Tucson, AZ. I have ridden horses just about all my life and I compete in the NRHA.

About Me

I am from a small family. I have 2 brothers. I quit working construction about 5 years ago to go back to school. I recently graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry. I am now preparing to take the MCAT, DAT, and GRE. I have been married for just a few months to the most wonderful girl in the world. She is pursuing her education in a doctorate program as we speak. I love to ride horses and go wakesurfing.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have received an overwhelming testimony of its veracity. I have seen how life is without following the Savior's teachings and the necessary struggles and pain that are associated with a such a life. The Spirit of God has touched my soul so deeply that I can in no way deny its truth. The teachings found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints frees me of worldly weight and allows me access to knowledge and understanding that brings peace and comfort. Our world today is filled with doubt and uncertainty however, I know one thing is true without any doubt and that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's true church on earth today.

How I live my faith

My wife and I teach a class at church for the children 5-6 years old. We enjoy the love and warmth those children radiate when we interact with them. Children teach us so much that often I feel as though I am being taught my them. We try to meet new people each week by reaching out and introducing ourselves to others and planning to spent some time together soon after.
