Hi I'm Santtu

I'm a Mormon and I hail from the icy realm of Finland.

About Me

Nothing special about me really. I was born and raised here in Finland. I attended the Finnish education system all the way through high school. On the side I enjoyed doing gymnastics, playing guitar and riding motorbikes. After high school I entered the compulsory military service that we have in Finland. I was assigned to the Air Force but got to see what life was like in the Army as well. This was a hard time in my life. But looking back it was good for me. I ended up staying there for one and a half years. After this I drifted into a job as a gymnastics coach and have been engaged in that activity for almost one and a half years also.

Why I am a Mormon

My family is Mormon, and as a result I have been for my whole life. Although, why I am Mormon is not based solely on that fact. I have noticed that while this lifestyle might have some "restrictions", this is a better way to live. I have not had any great revelations or visions, I have not witnessed dramatic miracles, nor have I ever heard a voice answer my prayers. However, when I prayed and asked if these things that I believe in are true, I got a good reassuring feeling. It's not much to go on, I know, but at this point it is enough for me.

How I live my faith

I try to keep out of trouble for one. Also, I try to be helpful to others without, might I say, "over doing it". I try to be a good example to those around me, I don't always succeed in this endeavor or even most of the time, but I try and that's, in my oppinion, what counts.
