Hi I'm Elizabeth Dalley

I love reading, writing, being with friends and family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've dabbled in the fields of nursing, film, and linguistics but am currently settled on studying Social Science Teaching at Brigham Young University and hope to become an high school history teacher. I love reading and writing and learning about anything and everything.

Why I am a Mormon

Because the Church is true! But of course, that's easier said than done. I'm a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and I know that everything that I've been taught and the standards of the Church have truly blessed my life. The only times I've felt that being a member was hard was when I didn't truly understand or rather work to understand why it was such a blessing that I was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. And so the more I live my faith, the more I understand, and the more I want to follow my Savior.

How I live my faith

I know that having faith means action. As I grow in my faith, I become more active in doing the things that I know are right. Although I'm far from perfect, I know that this life is a time to prepare and set us on that path to become the best we can be. And so with this knowledge, I try the best I can, through the aid of the Atonement, to be better today that I was yesterday and being better tomorrow than I am today. I have a long way to go, but with the example and the help of the Savior I know I can get there someday.
