Hi I'm Emily

I grew in New York State for the most part. I am a college student. I love horses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm in college studying health science and eventually I want to go to graduate school but that's a ways down the road. I love working with animals especially horseback riding. I love music especially vocal (like musicals) and piano music. I like running even though I'm not in track and field and I love dancing. I enjoy making fancy desserts and consider it a form of creativity.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to follow Jesus Christ and I am grateful for what he has done for me. I have chosen to keep following His gospel because I have learned through prayer and study that His way is the only way to be completely happy even if it's hard. I know that Jesus Christ lives and His Atonement happened and the healing power is real. I know that families can be together forever and that everyone can return to heaven to live with Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, living by the strength of youth standards, being active in as many church activities as possible and carrying around scriptures with me all the time so I can share and learn the gospel. I try find ways of doing service during the week. I also make time for my family everyday.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

There is more than one way to talk to someone about the Mormon church in person. One way is to talk with a member that you know. A second way is to talk to the representatives of the church. They love to share information about the church and will be glad to help you. There is a form on this site to help you get in touch with them. Show more Show less
