Hi I'm Nathan

I grew up in Utah. I will soon be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second oldest of four children. I participated in wrestling in junior high and swim team in high school. I am in my first year of college. I am well over six feet tall. I will soon be serving an mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know the truth of this church by praying to my my Father in Heaven regularly and through reading his teachings in both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I have come to know for myself that Jesus Christ is my Savior, this is His Church, and that the Book of Mormon is a true witness of our Savior and His teachings. Because of this knowledge, I try hard to live His gospel and do His will by keeping his commandments. I know that these commandments are not made to restrain me or prevent me from having fun or doing what I want, but that they are made by a God who has my best interest in mind and knows that if I keep them it will help me to feel freer and happier. I know that God loves all people and that He wants everyone to be happy. I know that I can gain great happiness as I have faith in my Savior Jesus Christ and try to live His teachings.

How I live my faith

I have participated in various ways in my church, including helping to plan and then going to youth activities while I was growing up, and by attending the Boy Scouts unit that was connected with my congregation. Thanks to that, I am an Eagle scout. As an adult, I have helped to take care of various organizational and paperwork needs for my church among the men. I also help by assisting in various planned and unplanned service activities.
