Hi I'm Zac Garside

I live in South Jordan, Utah, and am the oldest of four children. I moved here from San Pedro, California.

About Me

I have attended Herriman High from 2010 to 2013, and served as the Student Body President. I love playing rugby, and learning about business. I plan to attend Utah State University in 2015, studying Business Law.

Why I am a Mormon

I know without a sliver of doubt, that this is the only true church on the face of the earth. I continue to grow and learn in this church because of what it has taught me about myself and others. I have come to realize so many of my gifts and talents through this gospel, and I understand that my savior will always be there for me, and that he is my redeemer. He knows all my pains, and has faced every trial I have had. I am not extremely outspoken about my testimony, or my spiritual experiences, but I feel the spirit constantly, and love finding new ways to feel the spirit. When I study my scriptures intensely, and learn more about its teachings, I can feel my testimony becoming stronger, and can feel my knowledge of the gospel, and of the world around me growing. The scriptures help me understand my trials better, and I am able to relate stories in the scriptures my life today. I am a Mormon because being a Mormon has taught me valuable principles, and has shaped me into I am today, and who I will be for the rest of my life. I love this church, and know with complete certainty it is true. There is no way something this miraculous, and life-changing couldn't be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me, and assisting our local missionaries. I enjoy talking about missionary work with those around me, and discussing parts of the gospel people often interpret differently than I. I have attended youth activities for quite some years now, and have come to love working with those around me through those activities. They are a blessing, and learning from others has shaped the person I am today, and the testimony I have. I believe the way I live my faith, is one of my best missionary tools, and that through it I can become a vessel for the spirit to touch the lives of others through.
