Hi I'm Robert

I was baptised a in April 1982 and have been going out to church of and on ever since I found it has changed my life.

About Me

I am a Electronic Jacquard Loom Overlooker, mechanical technician in the silk industry in Macclesfield Cheshire England, I have 4 grown up children, Richard, Christian, Carly and Emma, I was baptized with my wife who am divorced from. I still attend my chapel each week. My youngest son races motorbikes on the track and has been 125cc British champion twice Christian Elkin.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and that he died for us to give the opportunity for eternal life, I feel God is always with me and is my helper and guide in this world.

How I live my faith

I live by the laws of our church, some are hard, we have the word of wisdom, it includes no alcohol, smoking, drinking tea or coffee, I pay a tithe each month on my income of 10 % the Lord blesses me for this. Have met a huge number of really good friends in the church and is like one large family.

How are modesty and chastity related? How can parents teach their children to be modest in dress, language and behavior?

Robert
If a person is modestly dressed they will not think immodestly nor will the person looking at them think bad things. Our body is a temple and we should keep it that way, we have the rest of our lives to be intimate when marred, we need not use bad language to express ourselves filling in space in conversation, most young people do not know what the words actually mean.
