Hi I'm Daniel

I've prepared my whole life for a mission, and now I finally reached that goal. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've always been a sports person. I participated in Football, Wrestling, and Track. I did very well in all those sports. I love sports because they teach me life lessons, the biggest being not to give up just because it gets hard. That is when you force yourself to try harder. Many of my heroes are men who have been my coaches or priesthood leaders. They are great influences in my life. I've had to work instead of go to college so i could get money to go on a mission. The job i have had for the past year isn't the greatest environment for a prospective missionary, but i can't complain because it does pay for my mission. I'm a very hard worker and love to get a job done and see the results. That's me in a few sentences.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church and even when I was a little boy I always wanted to believe. I loved hearing the Book of Mormon stories that my mom would always tell me. Mainly Captain Moroni, Ammon, Teancum, all those war heroes that were good men and fought only to protect their families and country. I've always had an easier time believing in this church than most of my friends around me. I think it was because I loved the idea of having a Heavenly Father knowing me as well and if not better than my earthly father. And I have always loved the idea of eternal families. I know that this church is true. I had the faith of a child, but now I have the understanding of a young man. I know it is true and I would stand by that statement to the end of my days.

How I live my faith

The biggest way i participate in my ward is service projects. I don't have a calling right now because of an upcoming mission, but whenever an opportunity presents itself to give service I love doing it.
