Hi I'm Seru Tabakece

I'm Fijian, I love Telling Stories,Sports and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm from the beautiful Fiji Islands, I grew up with my Mum and Grandparents and that’s how I learned the teachings of the Mormon Faith. It had helped me a lot recently in my life as I start actively living and applying the principles of the Gospel into my life. And seeing first-hand the fruit of the Gospel as it radiates and enveloped me with tidings of great Joy. I had never travelled out of my Island before until i was called to serve in England to work voluntarily for my Church for two years. This had opened up Iron curtains of the outside world from the tiny Islands and to realise that we a generally connected to a few hours away from those places we dream of and Nations that we can explore. I had learned a lot from my Two years of voluntary work for my church and I'm grateful about the vast training and knowledge it had equipped me with. Well nevertheless to say the Last and not the Least that i know that the Mormon Faith is true and i seal it with my testimony and i hope that everyone who reads my profile may ask God to know for the truth for them as well.

Why I am a Mormon

The main reason i can say why I'm a Mormon is how i had seen the Gospel of Jesus Christ had shape the happiness of my family and myself as an individual. The teachings had inspired me to become a better person. And most importantly how i had received answers to my prayers about every day challengers ,guidance and direction from my Father in heaven. It doesn't mean it is instant some had taken years, months, overnight but it does come. And also how I had been much more happier as I reflect on my life and how being a Mormon had installed in me attributes that I can't inherit from the World. Attributes that brings joy beyond description and personal experiences that strengthens my desire to be good and be enthusiasm and optimistic in my own life to become better.

How I live my faith

Well one way i can say that i live my Faith is Firstly by giving up two years to work voluntarily for my church. And by abiding by the principles of my Mormon faith which includes Not Smoking and Drinking Alcohol and Hot Drinks , such as tea and coffee to say the least. And also by being an example by word and deed, especially by serving other people who need help.
