Hi I'm James Tidd

I was born in Hawaii. I am going to serve a mission in Utica New York. I love to help others and play the guitar. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm imperfect, in fact I bet i'm more imperfect than you. I love my family, dog, and guns. I like to eat food, and that's a problem because that makes me fat. Some Missionaries call me the "Most Masculine Man [they] Know" and I'm proud to have earned that title. I don't get cold and can wear a thin jacket during the New York winters. I love to tell myself and others "when no one else seems to give a dang, you know Jesus does." My companion came up with that one and we say it a lot. And i'm a Mormon Missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the LDS church is true, and I'm acting on that knowledge by serving a Mission. I know that only through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints can I be with my family in the eternities and receive all the blessings my Heavenly Father wishes to give me. I'm on the highway to happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going on a Mission and striving to remain true to the covenants I have made with God. However, I'm a prime example of one who constantly falls short of the glory of God. I'm glad that God just asks us to keep trying, to not give up, and to do better the next day (D&C 67:13). "I may not be there yet, but i'm better than I was yesterday"
