Hi I'm Elder Lane

Well, what can i say..i used to live in California. Now i live in Africa. We have sodza.

About Me

From California, but went to college in Salt Lake for a year before i began my mission. I am currently serving in Zimbabwe Africa. In college I studied business, and i would love to come back to Africa and use my degree here after i finish school. Before mission most of my time was spent either at school, long boarding, or spending time with friends and family. I like people as a general whole, that trait definitely helps in missionary work. Everyone has a life full of memories made and lessons learned, when you get to know someone, i think you take a little of what they know with you. That being said I hope that i live my life in way where others can take something valuable after they get to know me, something easier said than done, but i strive.

Why I am a Mormon

I was never very concerned with religion. If you would ask for religious people to raise their hands, i wouldn't be sure whether to raise or lower mine....One the other hand, i am a person very much concerned with truth. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I can't say that i always live my faith, but i strive to. I think its the little things that determine how your life will be spent. I dont always make the right choices, or say the right things...I probably make more mistakes the good decisions, but i try. I can say i live my faith my having faith, taking that step in the dark when I'm unsure of whats next. I simply go, do what i can, and with Gods guidance, i know I'll end up where He would have me be. Being in that place, is how i live my faith.
