Hi I'm Nate Johnson

I play lacrosse and soccer. I love animals and being outdoors. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a college student trying to deicde on a major. I do not always love school in fact I struggle frequently. I do know that education is important and I am seeking to learn what major to pursue. I love being involved in sports and I especially love watching professional soccer, basketball, and lacrosse.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this gospel is true. My parents raised me in this church and as I have grown up, I have come to know drop by drop that it is true. I find joy in reading the Book of Mormon. I had a teacher that once told me that you are the master of what you know. You are the only one who is the master of what you know. I’d like to share with you how I came to know the Book of Mormon was true. I read and prayed for the truthfulness to be revealed to me. I read and I prayed but I never had what some might call a bam moment or an awakening. As I read, I would just have little thoughts of “How could this not be true?” or “Wow, this prohpet was a total stud.” or “Man I could sure as heck use a testimony like that on my mission.” My testimony was formed drop by drop. Even though there wasn’t a huge turning point, no one can tell me that I don’t know the Book of Mormon isn’t true. The Book of Mormon is true and it was translated by Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith was a true prophet as is President Monson. They did and do act as mouth pieces of God’s will and counsel. Jesus Christ is my Savior and my older Brother. He submitted to the will of the Father and accomplished the Atonement. Through prayer we can come to know Him and Heavenly Father. Revelation is possible on the individual level. The gospel is a blessing and I give this testimony in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ, amen

How I live my faith

I try to live my fiath by keeping my values when I am alone and when I am with people. During this last season in sports I prayed to my Heavenly Father before every practice and game to give me strength and to help me think clearly. I attend church each week, even when I feel discouraged or burdened down with the business of life. The gospel gives me strength that I have come to rely on.
