Hi I'm Dharma

I love crafts and sewing. Interested in Medieval Society and European history. I love big dogs and a big family. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in an American Sikh household. I love my parents and have them to thank that I am able to appreciate other cultures and religions. I attended boarding school in India for a few years, with many other American Sikh children. My family lived in Arizona all that time, and I moved home to attend University of Arizona. I am now training to be a pharmacy technician. I am married and we have 4 children together.

Why I am a Mormon

From the time I came home for college, I had a very different life, from then till now. I was not practicing any religion for many years, and had in fact no real direction. I had not given my children the spiritual support I feel they needed because I didnt know how. I was not sure about where to turn and what was true, as far as God and Heaven. I began to research many different religions and belief systems. The one that kept attracting me was the Mormon religion though I was not sure why. I know now that it was the truth I felt when reading. I met my husband two years ago, and we began to grow to be very good friends. He was born into the Church, but never pushed anything on me. We began meeting with missionaries and things became clear to me. I felt things I had never felt before. The joy at learning these things, at feeling the things I felt, is indescribable. I married my husband last year, after I joined the Church. Together we have 4 beautiful children and were sealed last month in the Mesa Temple. I will always be thankful for the chance I had at coming to the place I am now.

How I live my faith

I am a Primary teacher for my ward, teaching the young children each Sunday. And while I teach the children I learn from them as well.
