Hi I'm Sam

I was raised in Louisiana and was recently baptized. I believe the church is true. I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am a recent convert to the church. My job is working at a gas station as a cashier. I have been married once now single again (divorced). My greatest accomplishment in life is my daughter. I may not get to see her everyday but hopefully one day I will get to see her again. I love to sing, dance, write poems, and draw. Eventually if Heavenly Father is willing I hope to be the wife of some lucky guy who is in the church but we will have to wait and see on that one. As for college, I hope to one day in the near future be able to go. As for a major, I am undecided... there are many great fields out there to pursue. I just want to pick the right one to go into. To all of you who read this profile, Have a Blessed day and always remember to SMILE because you never know whose life you might bless or whose day you might make with the warmth of your smile!

Why I am a Mormon

After years of being a part of several churches and feeling like I never belonged anywhere, I started to pray. At this time, not only was I praying for a job, I was praying for the right church. Shortly after I moved to the city where I am now, I met this wonderful young lady (who is now one of my close friends) one Sunday Morning while working and asked her if she could suggest a church for me to attend. And she of course suggested the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. Upon hearing this, I told her about how some of my family members were Mormons. The young woman went out to her car and came back with a copy of The Book of Mormon with her name and number written in the front cover for me. So New Years Eve, I called her up and wanted to know more. She of course hooked me up with the sister missionaries and they not only set up an appointment with me but set me up to go to an awesome YSA event that night. As I studied with the sisters, I prayed to know if the church is true and it is. February 16, 2013 I became a member and I am proud to say I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I believe in serving others and helping to lead them to Christ, whether that be in my own backyard, in my town, state, country or globally. I try to help others in any way that I can whether that be feeding the homeless or just cheering my friends up when they are down.. I believe that everyone should always remember to smile because you never know whose life you might bless or whose day you may make with the warmth of your smile. Even if you have a bad day you should keep smiling so that others can see the love of Christ through you.
