Hi I'm Eric

I Love music, adventure, and fun and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love everything about music; the passion, the tempo, the feel, the spirit! I love to snow ski, shoot guns, hike, scuba dive, play golf, pickleball, and tennis! I love watching movies and spending my time having fun! I work for a carpet cleaning company and a shipping fulfillment center. I have been called to serve the lord in the Colombia Bogota North mission on June 19th, 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints or a Mormon. I chose to be baptized when I was 8 and I choose to live his gospel everyday. The truth is what makes me happy! To know that our Heavenly Father loves us and our brother Jesus Christ has paved the way for us to live with our loving families forever. I know that everything in this church is true. And it honestly makes me so happy to live its teachings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through service. I am currently the teacher of the men age 18-40. I love to travel with my family on humanitarian trips to Central America to serve those people by voluntary Dental work. I show service and live my Faith through small things everyday like a simple smile or opening a door for someone else. I love to live this faith for the simple fact that it will make you so happy to do so!

What do Mormons believe about family?

In “The Family: A Proclamation to the World” many Mormon beliefs about families are outlined. One of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ core beliefs is that family relationships can last forever—not just for this life. Just as some of life’s sweetest joys can come through family associations, the loss of a beloved family member can be a source of our deepest sorrows. But death does not need to be the end of our relationships with cherished loved ones. The Lord revealed to the Prophet Joseph Smith that the “same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there [in eternity], only it will be coupled with eternal glory” (Doctrine and Covenants 130:2). Family members who accept the Atonement of Jesus Christ and follow His example can be together forever through sacred ordinances performed in God’s holy temples. Jesus gave to Peter the power to have things sealed on earth and sealed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). This same sealing power was restored to Joseph Smith. Mormon’s believe that they can be “sealed” or bound together through His power enabling them to live together in eternity. Show more Show less
