Hi I'm Matthew Webber

I've lived in Washington my entire life. I love music and play both the bassoon and flute. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived my entire life in Washington state, except a year to attend BYU in Provo, Utah. I am currently preparing to sever my mission to Seoul, Korea. I enjoy soccer, even though I am terrible at it. I play two instruments; the bassoon and flute. I hope to one day become a geneticist, mainly to do research on genetic diseases that are currently incurable.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. However, it wasn't until my first year at BYU that I really began to love the Church. I had always gone to my meetings and activities as a youth, but I was just going through the motions. What changed from my senior year of high school to my freshman year of college was the fact that I was choosing to go to Church every Sunday for myself; it wasn't expected of me to wake up and get ready to go. It was then that I knew without a doubt that i truly believed in everything I was taught being brought up in the gospel. I know for a fact that Jesus is the Christ, and the Savior of the world. That he gave his life for us to be able to return to our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith did translate the plates, and that he restored the true church to the Earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it is there to help us in our everyday lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday; in my words and my actions. I do everything I can to follow the teachings of Christ. Currently I am preparing to enter the Mission Field, to share the gospel to the people of Korea.
