Hi I'm Justin

I was born and raised in wyoming. I am into sports, camping, hunting and fishing. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am very interested in sports and outdoor activities. I play baseball, basketball, tennis and I ran track. I love hunting and camping and fishing. I like to go camping with the young men of the church and I go hunting with my family. Fishing is an awesome way to get out into nature and just enjoy yourself. And when you finally catch a fish it is so fun with the thrill of the catch. Along with this I love to hang out with my friends and be with my family. Right now I am planning on going on a mission and when I return I will go to college at byui. I have lots of nieces and nephews so I have learned to deal with children my whole life and I am grateful for the chances that I've had to become more well rounded. Growing up in a area with nature surrounding me, I love getting out and just taking in everything I am blessed to have around me. I am now serving as a missionary for the church and I'm currently at the MTC but will be serving in the Mozambique, Maputo mission.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was born into this church, I was in no way forced to be a part of it. I love Christ and everything this church offers. I know that Christ died for us, but that he rose again and he has made a way so that we can repent and return to live with Him again. I know that through God's plan, we can return to live with our familes again. I know that under the correct authority, families are eternal. This simple truth is one of the big reasons why I have chosen to be a part of His church. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. Moroni says in the back that if you will pray to know if its true or not that your bosom shall burn and I can testify that that is true. I have prayed and know that the power of prayer is real. God listens to and answers our prayers and if we are willing to listen he will ALWAYS give us the answer to help us. I continue to follow his Gospel because of the happiness it brings to me. I know that the reason my home is so happy is because we have the gospel in it. I want to be with my family forever and be able to live with God again so I continue and will always continue to follow in the Savior's footsteps and do the best I can to return to live with Him again. I love this church and I am proud to be a member.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be example to everyone. In my church, I occasionally have to teach the lesson to kids my age when the teacher is gone. By doing this I show how we always need to be prepared and to be able to know how to step up. In my community I try and be a Christlike example in how I dress, look, talk, and act. I know that people look closely at how I act so I try and keep myself clean at all times. I love to do service and I have a special spot in my heart for the elderly. I love helping them by making them sweets, doing chores for them, or just visiting with them. They have so many wonderful stories to tell and so much that I can learn from. Children are also so much fun. I play with all my nieces and nephews and try to be a good example to them. Once a month I go and visit families in my ward with my dad. We check in on them, see how they are doing and see if they need any help. We usually leave a short message about Christ with them and through this, we can make sure that everyone is getting taken care of. Mainly, I just try to be the best example I can be. Our church is named the Church of Jesus Christ so I try and live that everyday.
