Hi I'm Jake Robley

I am from Pleasant Grove, Utah. I'm the oldest of four boys. I love sports and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports, especially basketball. I always have some sort of song stuck in my head, and love to laugh. I have the best family in the entire world. For the past two years I have been serving as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Novosibirsk, Russia. It has truly been the best two years of my life. I will finish my mission in just under a month and plan on studying at Brigham Young University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because throughout the years I have gradually received a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's restored church on the earth. That testimony didn't come immediately but as I created habits of daily prayer and scripture study (especially of the Book of Mormon), I received many witnesses that this church is true. I am a mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me so much happiness in my own life, and in the life of my family. I have felt the peace that comes from applying the Atonement of Jesus Christ. I know that I can return to my Father in Heaven and live in His presence with my family forever. There is nothing I want more than that.

How I live my faith

Joyfully! There is no better way of living than patterning your life after Jesus Christ. Through joyful, daily repentance I have been able to find so much happiness in life, in times of bad as in times of good. I try my best to stay anxiously engaged in good causes and to share the light of Christ with all of God's children.
