Hi I'm Brittany

I love English. I am a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a great love of reading, whether it be a novel or the scriptures. This love steered me in the direction of becoming an English teacher. I am currently working on my degree at BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The gospel has always been a part of my life and it simply made sense to me. I never was given reason to doubt it, more like I was given reason to believe in it more. I think what has tested my faith and knowledge of the gospel the most is when I decided to serve a mission. Never have I felt that I understood the church less than when I realized I had to explain it to others. I had to come to the realization that I don't know everything, but I do know the joy the gospel brings. I knew I wanted to share this joy and knowledge with others and to do that I must rely on my Heavenly Father to help me preach His gospel. I know this church is true. I do not have a great conversion story to back up this knowledge, my conversion has been slow and quiet, but there is no doubt that I know of the truthfulness of the gospel. I know the Savior lives (isn't it amazing that he does?!) and I know that He suffered and died for everyone. This church just feels right (which is the Holy Ghost bearing witness) and I am so grateful to know why I am here and where I'm going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in church and attending church functions. By reading my scriptures, saying my prayers and obeying the commandments I live my faith.
