Hi I'm Angela

I live in Canada. My husband and I are pregnant with our first baby.

About Me

I like to learn old fashioned ways of doing things like baking bread and making rag-rugs. In anticipation of our first baby I've become very interested in natural child birth and may look into midwifery in the future. I went to university and graduated with a bachelors in health science. I spent a year working with adults who have developmental disabilities and look forward to being a stay at home mom.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon and probably took it for granted until I was about 12. My grandmother asked me if I knew for myself if the Book of Mormon was true (meaning that it was actually written by ancient prophets who were inspired of God and writing His words and a record of Christ's visit to the Americas). I felt a little embarrassed because I had never asked God. I had been baptized and felt like I was pretty old and knew a fair bit about things but I was not so sure as to be able to say that I'd prayed and found out from God. Soon after I prayed, and since then have prayed many times, to ask God the deep questions of my heart. It is such a great blessing that God answers prayers and loves us so thoroughly as to give us his guidance in such a confusing world.

How I live my faith

I have lots of opportunities to help other women and I am grateful for the supportive environment in my congregation.
