Hi I'm Jake Ingledue

I grew up in Oregon. I've served in the military and have served overseas. I am a convert. I am a mormon.

About Me

I am an athletic out doors type of guy, but just like everyone else I have my dorky/goofy side. I've played several sports mainly football. I have several hobbies which include: Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Swimming, Sports, movies, social outings, and many more. Im open to do try new things and am pretty easy going. I really enjoy making people laugh and getting to see people smile. I am definitely a people person.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a mormon? Well I have been to many different Christian churches but always felt like something was still missing. As I investigated the Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) and met with the missionaires it just felt good...it felt right. Though it felt right I was still very skeptical so I knelt down on my knees and prayed to our heavinly father to know if this was the right church, if the Book of Mormon was another testimony of Jesus Christ. Once I did this I felt this warm, peaceful, happy sensation come over me. It was a burning in my chest that felt good. I knew then that that was my answer that this was the true church of Jesus Christ. So i took the lessons to learn more and then got baptized. It has been the best and most rewarding decision of my life! I thought before I was truly happy but never have I felt the happiness that I now have in my life which comes from the gospel of Jesus Christ. I continue in prayer to always ask God for myself to know if things are true because I will never know for myself if I dont humble myself to ask. That is why I am a mormon, because I simply cannot deny truth.

How I live my faith

I fufill my callings as a Sunday school teacher and the First Councelor to the Priethood quorum. I serve in the Young Single Adult branch. As a councelor I participate in hometeaching to see how families and individuals are doing in their daily lives.
