Hi I'm Bronson M Teichert

I grew up on a cattle ranch in Cokeville, Wyoming. I love my town and my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the wonderful town of Cokeville, Wyoming. There is maybe 600 people but I love that I know and trust everyone. My Dad and uncle own a cattle ranch that I work on and I have learned how to work hard because of it. In high school sports were my life. I did football, wrestling, and track. Once I graduated I went to Utah State University for one semester then decided to go on a mission. I will be serving in the Italy Rome mission. When I get back I plan to continue my education and hopefully make it back to Cokeville someday. I love my family and the all the opportunities that I have had.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were raised as Mormons and so I was raised the same way. But I'm not a Mormon just because that's what my parents believed in. I chose to be a Mormon because I was how happy their lives are. I wanted the same thing. Even more important is the all of the knowledge that comes when living righteously. I know that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me and that is son Jesus Christ suffered and died so that I could be forgiven of my sins. I know that the Holy Ghost is real and is there to help guide me. I believe that Joseph Smith was a key part to our Religion in these modern times. I know that he saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith found and translated the record of the ancient people of America, The Book Of Mormon. He sacrificed so much to organize the only true church, he gave so much, even his life. I know that to this day we have true leaders. I am thankful that we have a living prophet, President Monson that receives revelation directly from God for us. I know that if I live the way I'm supposed to I will return to Heavenly father and that I can be with my Family after this life.

How I live my faith

I was involved with many things that gave me opportunities to serve. From the time I was in boy Scouts we did service projects. For my Eagle Scout award I organized a food drive for those in the community that needed it. In church I was able to do countless acts of service. Some included shoveling snow, picking up trash, cutting wood and many others. In school I was apart of the National Honors Society, we did many services, some included picking up trash, raising money for sick children, and even organizing a blood drive that many of us donated in as well. I also had the opportunity to be the Student Body Vice President. The presidency and I started the Make a Wish foundation at our school to help a little boy with cancer. Once I was in college there were even more opportunities and committees that I was apart of. A few of the services we did were making a Thanksgiving dinner for a family in need, going door to door for a food drive, visiting the nursing home, and going to an Indian Reservation to help restore and fix the School's facilities.
