Hi I'm Daniel

I was born and raised in Boise, Idaho. I am a runner. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm the youngest in my family. I am studying Political Science at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. So, yeah, I plan on being a politician. I like to run--I am beginning to train for a marathon. I like cooking (that includes eating!!!), especially a good Thai or Indian curry. I play the piano.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel very blessed to be a member of this church. I do not lie, some days I forget this. The "Mormon" church has helped me to realize that being unique is good. It has helped me to realize how important my family is to me. One thing I can not and will not deny. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's kingdom on the earth. It is Christ's true church.

How I live my faith

It's a day-to-day thing, really. I can't say any day that I know "the secret." Here's what I can say: Alma 32:27, ". . . Yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words." When hard times come, and I don't want to believe, I pray for a desire to believe. I do believe God is merciful and loving; He will rescue us, if we are willing to hope and have faith in Him! I teach Portuguese at the Missionary Training Center, and I work at the temple once a week.
