Hi I'm Kylar Dean Anderson

I grew up in Oregon in a small town called Rainier. Martial Arts and Rock Climbing are my passions. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My names Kylar and ive been blessed to have had the gospel in my life since the day i was born. I have 3 brothers, one of which is on a mission as well. My personal hobbies can vary from week to week but 2 things i have always been interested in and loved is rock climbing and martial arts. I do 6 different martial arts and love learning new types. i am also terrified of needles and had to be dragged to the doctors to get the immunizations i needed to go on my mission. i am a video game junky as well, i love the online game League of Legends, im an addict, i admit it but im willing to give it up for a couple years to serve my God. I love art and the imagination, i draw, paint and act in plays. I also write poetry, its rather therapeutic.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because i cant envision a future where i am happy if i wasnt. this church is everything to me, it has pulled me out of deep pits in my life that i wouldnt have been able to get out of without it. i have been a member my entire life and i have always known the church is true, it hasnt been easy, ive had my share of difficulties but this gospel has always been there for me. i enjoy the thought that in this crazy world we live in, that there is a plan and im a part of it. im not just some meaningless particle in this galaxy that nobody knows about but that i have a purpose and a cause. this church gives meaning into my life and guidelines that i know make me happy and are for the best.

How I live my faith

In my church i helped lead and guide the 12 year olds, the 14 year olds and the 16 year olds, i was the chorister for our church for a time and since 2012 i have been a ward missionary and a home teacher. I enjoy going out into town or the back roads and talk to people about our church, i help bring members back to church who havent gone in a rather long time, it is a very fulfilling calling and you easily start to care for the people you visit
