Hi I'm Taylor Ballantyne

I love the great outdoors, I love to play proper football, I am CNA aspiring to be a RN, I love suspense novels. I am a mormon

About Me

I am a pretty easy going person as long as I am outside around the beautiful creations that God has created for us to enjoy the beauties of the earth. I love sports especially Football (American and British), I love hiking, camping, fishing, running. Anything and everything to do with being outdoors. I love to read!!!!!!!!!!!! It is the best when it is raining or snowing outside to curl up with a blanket and a book and just read. My family and friends are some of the most important people in my life. That is because I know that they will always be there for me. And I know that because they already have on countless occasions. And I don't know what I would do with out them or the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is there for all to help them know that this life is not all and it is not meant just for pain. There is a plan for us and we were created to be happy. Yes we do still have to feel the pain, and sadness. But if we didn't we would never know pure happiness. And the Church of Jesus Christ has taught me that. It has taught me that families are important and are meant to be forever not just in this life. It has taught me who I truly am " A Daughter of God" and that He loves me more than I could ever imagine. And that He is and will always be there for me when I turn to him. I am so grateful to this gospel and all that it has helped me with in my life and will continue to help me with as long as I apply it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. But just like everyone I had to find my own testimony and conversion. I had to find out for myself if it was true. It was a long road I didn't gain my testimony until three years ago when my family went through a really rough year. I was talking to my mother one day and I asked her why it didn't stop. That I didn't think I could handle any more. She told me that God will not give us more than we can handle. And when we feel like we cannot go on any more that is when He is right there helping us even more. So I turned to the only person who could actually understand all of the pain and frustration I was going through. I turned to the Savior Jesus Christ and my Loving Heavenly Father. That is when I truly found my testimony that I know that my family will be able to be together forever and that I will be able to see my loved ones again after they have gone from this life. Those hard times are still there and I know that there will still be plenty to come, but I know that it wont last long and that My Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ will be with me every step of the way. I know that Jesus Christ died for each and every one of us so that we will be able to see our loved ones again and be cleansed from sin. What a wonderful blessing he as given us. I am a Mormon because I have seen how much the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me in my life and my family. It truly is a gospel of Peace and Happiness.

How I live my faith

Right now I am on a mission for my church in England. I am able to share with people the happiness and peace that the Gospel has brought into my life. It is a wonderful thing to know that my family can be together after this life.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Taylor Ballantyne
As missionaries we go out and talk to people so that they will be able to know for themselves who we really are and so that they can learn more about Jesus Christ and accept Him into their lives if they so choose. We want to help others find the happiness, peace, and understanding that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has brought us in our own lives. And the way we do that is by sharing it with those around us. We are doing everything we can to seek out people who may be interested in learning more about Jesus Christ and God’s plan for their happiness. The work we as missionaries are doing is completely volentary. We leave our families for a space of 18 months to 2 years. So that we can bring other families closer together, and to help them find the peace that they may need. The Savior taught His disciples, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations” (Matthew 28:19). As followers of Jesus Christ, members of His Church are enthusiastic about proclaiming the good news of His restored gospel to all who are willing to listen. I have loved being a missionary myself because I have been able to see people completely change because they have let Chirst into their lives and have been able to know that they truly are loved by their Heavenly Father. They are also able to know for themselves that He has a plan for them, and is watching our for them. So no matter what happens good or bad the Lord is there with them the whole way!!! What a wonderful blessing that is!!! Show more Show less
